Description

When we talk about Langhe we talk about good wine, truffles, good food … and Moto !!! Through the streets, to all these typical towns and these wonderful landscapes, the possible routes are endless. In the tour we have having chosen to offer you we start from Millesimo and walk along the EX SS28Bis, the old state road that connected Liguria to Piedmont. At the top of the town of Roccavignale, we suggest you stop by to take some photos from the “Panchina Gigante Azzurra”, one of the artistic compositions shaped like giant benches, that the American artist Chris Bangle has placed in the most suggestive places, especially in the Langhe .Arrived in Piedmont at the Montezemolo crossroads, we will find dozens of motorcycles and motorcyclists that from spring to late autumn meet before or after having traveled the famous roads of the Langhe. From Montezemolo, passing through Murazzano, Bossolasco, Rodello to Alba, the route is wonderful! The landscape is hilly to the right and to the left, the colors change depending on the season and you can see the entire Alpine arc, with the Monviso that seems to be painted in a picture! Its layout makes this road very fun to travel both by motorcycle and car and is characterized by mixed sections of fast and driven. Alba, the city of the white truffle, is the “capital” of the Lange, it is a very beautiful and organized city, with a large historic center and certainly worth a visit. For those who decide to have lunch in Alba, there is no shortage of places to eat well. Once they leave Alba, we will cross the heart of the Langhe. Grinzane Cavour, Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, Dogliani … It is the land where the best wines of the world are produced and the more we travel through these countries, the clearer the reason is. The rows of vines cover every cultivable meter. The show is wonderful, the countries that you cross between the vineyards, each with its castle, are one more beautiful than the other. The landscapes to immortalize are endless, not by chance they have been painted paintings and written many books to tell about these valleys beautiful. The tour continues along the “valley floor”, from Piozzo to Ceva. From here continue to Priero to get back to Montezemolo, maybe take a pleasant break with other motorcyclists and finally return to Millesimo.
